A pit bull in Stockton, California, is being hailed a hero after saving her family from a raging house fire.
It was just before midnight when Sasha the pit bull threw herself against the backdoor and started barking until her owner, Latana Chai, came outside. That’s when the woman saw a fire spreading from the neighbor’s complex over to theirs.
When Latana rushed back inside, she saw Sasha was already in the baby’s room dragging her by the diaper to safety. She credits the dog’s barking and banging warning signs for saving all of their lives.
