Like humans, animals can also create unbreakable bonds with each other. No one knows the strength of a bond like a dog! They are extremely loyal creatures and do anything for their loved ones… And the two dogs we’ll meet today are a great example of that!
Merrill is a three year old Pit Bull and Taco is an eight year old Chihuahua. They met at the Rocket Dog Rescue Shelter, where they lived together for a few years.
It didn’t take long before Merrill and Taco formed a strong bond together. During her time at the shelter, the Pit Bull had to undergo surgery. The operation was a matter of life and death and Taco proved to be a true friend in this difficult time.
The loyal dog didn’t leave the side of Merrill during the whole process. They were completely inseparable! But now, it was Merrill’s turn to prove her loyalty to Taco. When a potential landlord came to the shelter, he fell in love with Merrill. However, the little dog refused to leave Taco.
It was obvious that these two pups couldn’t be separated. Luckily, the owner had a big heart and decided to take both dogs with him. Now, Merrill and Taco live happily in their ultimate home. They found a loving family and, most important, they are together. These dogs will be best friends for the rest of their lives!
