Heartbreak as dog found dumped and abandoned at the side of Hull road – Hull Live

A Hull man who found a dog dumped at the side of the road in the city has spoken of his “heartbreak” at finding the abandoned four-legged friend. Graham Dobson, 43, found the dog looking mournful and tied to a lamppost for more than an hour in Scott Street on Thursday morning. Mr Dobson kept a look out for the owner to come back and fed and watered the pooch but in the end had to call for the dog warden to come and take the canine away when the owner did not return . The dog was described by Mr Dobson as “real nice” and “friendly” but also frightened about being left on his own. Now Mr Dobson hopes that the dog can get the home he deserves.
