So which silly pup in this “best of Bulldogs” compilation is your favorite? Was it the one that couldn’t walk down a hill without falling? Or how about the Bulldog that literally nods “yes?” Or could it be the same as my favorite, the one at the end that can push his ball with his tongue?

You have come to the right place for a big smile and a laugh that’s for sure. This 5-week-old husky just discovered his voice! All dogs go through this time and we are lucky enough that someone caught it on camera. We think he may be a future yodeler in the making.

The sweet puppy you’ll see in the video is sure to make your heart melt just a little. You may even find yourself cheering him on! When he finally gets going, his howl is by far the cutest little howl ever. Don’t you worry it’s practice that makes perfect. By the looks of it this little howler is going to have plenty of time to practice his trade.

Dogs are known for having a tremendous sense of smell, but it’s still impressive when you see that talent in action.

Emma-Leigh and Shane Matthews of Cumbria, England, share their home with three pets; Phil and Niko are both gigantic Alaskan malamute fluff-balls, and Milo is an equally fluffy cat. Emma-Leigh and Shane both adore their pets so much they even included Phil and Niko in their wedding ceremony.

These two adorable canines have their own social media sites, and each day hundreds of thousands of fans flock to the “Life With Malamutes” pages for a glimpse into their daily lives. In one popular video, we get a sense of just how keen these dogs’ noses really are when Emma-Leigh’s mother is visiting.

The dogs come home and trot into their living room, but the second they walk in you can see that they’re sniffing something out. They begin excitedly smelling the air, getting those snouts into every nook and cranny they can find. You can see the wheels turning in their heads!

“Where is grandma?” Emma-Leigh asks them as they root around the living area. When she finally opens the door and suggests they go search upstairs it’s only a matter of time before one of them finds the elusive source of the aroma. Grandma is relaxing on a guest bed when the first dog finds her and smothers her in kisses.

As grandma giggles uncontrollably the two gigantic dogs crawl on top of her. They seem to absolutely love her, or perhaps that’s just how they treat everybody? They are pretty sweet guys, after all!

The video has been viewed over 3 million times to date, and every time we watch it gets funnier! Niko and Phil are such characters it makes us want to rush out and get a Malamute of our own. Then we remember how much they shed… and maybe we’ll just enjoy watching Emma-Leigh and Shane’s dogs instead!

Watch Niko and Phil on a search and snuggle mission with Grandma in the video below

They have a keen sense of focus that helps them herd flocks of sheep much more efficiently than their canine cousins.

Give a Border Collie a challenging task, and it can handle it easily, but leave them alone and they tend to get bored. And boredom can lead to destructive behavior around the house, as plenty of Border Collie owners can likely attest to. These dogs need plenty of play time and mental stimulation to thrive.

Not everyone is a morning person, but sadly, we all have to face it eventually. How you start your morning is vital to deciding how your day ends up going. How do you manage the early hours? Do you have a daily morning routine? Perhaps it involves making a lavish breakfast, or going for an invigorating morning jog? Maybe you sit down in front of the news with a cup of coffee, or you sit on your phone playing games or catching up on current events.

Turns out that dogs might be more like us than we think! Some of them have morning rituals too, and it is just as adorable and endearing as it sounds like. So, not matter what your ritual is, one thing’s for sure: Your morning ritual looks nothing like this!

It doesn’t matter whether you have been gone 30 minutes or 2 days. They exhibit such a memorable reaction each and every time.

When Belle’s rescuers found her, she looked like she had a severe and debilitating skin disease. But they quickly realized the bumps covering her body were actually ticks.

Rescuers from CLAW (Community Led Animal Welfare) in Johannesburg, South Africa, were called to pick up Belle from a grossly neglectful home. The poor young dog, who is a mix of lab and hound, had been an unwilling host to the ticks for a long time already, and was on the verge of death. She was anemic and weak, and fighting tick fever.

They rushed her to the vet to get emergency medical care.

Ticks are a common pest in various parts of the world, but the invasion of ticks on Belle’s body was jaw-dropping.

She had thousands of ticks on her. They had crusted over the outside of her soft floppy ears and had swarmed inside of them. They had latched onto her eyelids, making it hard for her to see. The ticks had been living off of Belle for so long that they were bloated with her blood, relying on the blood vessels in the tender, thin-skinned areas of her face to survive.

The infestation was so severe that the medical team couldn’t pick the ticks off. Belle had already lost so much blood from the parasites that if the team attempted to remove them one by one, she would lose too much blood and die.

So they gave her strong antiparisitic drugs instead.

A couple days after her intensive treatment began, the ticks started to detach and fall off, having been paralyzed by the medication. Once they began their mass exodus, clinic staff treated the skin infections that the ticks left behind. Because she was severely malnourished, Belle was also put on a special diet to give her a boost of much-needed vitamins.

She slowly grew healthier. Her coat became shiny and silky, and her fur grew back over the parts of her skin that were left bare or mottled by the ticks. She became a healthy, happy pup, and her true nature really began to shine under the dedicated care and affection of the people at CLAW.

Her story went viral, and she captured the hearts of people all over the world.

However, there wasn’t a lot of interest in adopting her. Hard to believe, right?

In fact, there was only one person who submitted an application: Hannah Claire van Collier. When Hannah applied to adopt Belle, she assumed there would be a lot of competition. Instead, it seemed like she and Belle were just meant to be together.

“Belle quite literally stole Hannah’s heart within seconds of them meeting,” a post on CLAW’s Facebook page reads, “and it has been a match made in heaven. Belle landed her bum in the butter and hasn’t looked back, improving daily!”

We’re so happy that Belle is now healthy and loved, like she deserves to be, in her forever home.

Please take the time to share this story with your friends and loved ones.

Pringles, a little Yorkshire terrier with a severe head injury, was cruelly dumped in the garbage by her owner in Philadelphia. Little Pringles was rescued from the trash when a good Samaritan found her whimpering and looking sickly. The person immediately called for help. Unfortunately, even with the vet doing their best to save Pringles, she passed away from her injuries – but not before her story created a huge outcry. Her heartbreaking story has pushed for Pringles’s owners to be found and brought to justice for all the torture they inflicted on the poor dog.

The Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) received the distressing call regarding Pringles on Thursday. A fundraiser was started on Facebook by the SPCA for Pringles, and the message read, “A passersby had contacted ACCT Philly earlier in the morning when they heard rustling in the trashcan and suspected wildlife. Instead, the injured dog was found and the Pennsylvania SPCA’s Humane Law Enforcement team was contacted immediately for help. The dog…was found underneath trash inside of the can and appeared to have sustained trauma to her head.”

Pringles was in critical condition when she was rushed to the Shelter Hospital at the Pennsylvania SPCA’s Erie Avenue headquarters for immediate treatment. The SPCA’s Humane Law Enforcement team managed to track down the dog’s owner. They have also launched an investigation into the circumstances under which Pringles sustained her injuries and ended up in the trash. At the time, Nicole Wilson, Director of Humane Law Enforcement & Operations at the Pennsylvania SPCA spoke about Pringles’s “serious injuries.”

She said, “This dog had sustained serious injuries and instead of seeking help someone threw her away like she was a piece of trash. Thanks to a Good Samaritan who alerted authorities, we hope to give Pringles a second chance at the life she deserves,” whilst noting that Pringles was in a very “delicate state.”

The investigation is still ongoing, with charges pending. While that was being focused on, Pringles was deteriorating quickly. By Monday, the poor, sweet dog passed away. In another Facebook post, SPCA posted, “It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the news that our sweet Pringles passed away yesterday.”

The post continued, “While we are all shattered by this, we hope that we can all find comfort in the fact that she did not die in a trash can scared and alone, but instead was surrounded by love, the best medical treatment available, and the support of so many in the city of Philadelphia and far beyond. The post also praised the fighting spirit of Pringles who, despite being discarded like a piece of trash but fought to be found despite her injuries. In the short time that we knew her, she captured the hearts of many and her fighting spirit encouraged us all that perhaps a miracle was possible and she would recover. That was not to be, and while today we mourn, we will keep fighting – for Pringles.”

Rest in peace sweet little Pringles. We hope the people responsible pay dearly for what they did to you.
